Yay, I placed my order for the 1chip MSX, the new MSX computer that is being produced! I’m so lucky to be in Japan right now, because due to European regulations (CE and RoHS) it can’t be sold in Europe yet. It is said a second batch would need to be produced with a few modifications, but at least I won’t have to wait for that (if it ever comes).

There were some troubles with the ordering, it wouldn’t accept the name for my credit card, and I got an error. After a mail to D4E it appeared the . was the cause, I removed it and the troubles were gone (strange though, I thought I tried that the first time as well).

Anyway, I am a happy man. I brought my CF-IDE interface with me, so I can start right off using it when I get it :). I hope it won’t take too long.
